Every time I play these old games, I get an overwhelming desire to be creative.
I made a concept sprite for the game this morning for an
entrance to a dungeon. It is isometric, much like the game and with a
bit of texturing and photoshop work by those artistic enough, it could
easily be a unique sprite for Mir. I offer it here for modification, basically
do whatever you want.

any small update of map etc. to add entrance = new patch for all players so the can c the entrance:)

so it can be only added together when we add more stuff:) or change a lot:) cos clients will be re-uploaded then:)

You can use any number of 3d applications to create material like this. The real trick
is getting the camera set up perfect for Mir. I have not actually done this and so
the above is a guesstimate, though I can worry about trivial stuff like that later.

Updated gate entrance with texture. Not sure if my approach to detailing the gate
makes it fit nicely into Mir, maybe I have failed in that area, if you think you can
improve upon it further, then this is something I encourage.

Tonight, I made walls for a map, just to make them look pretty
and then maybe they will make nice walls for mir.



Hehe, the thought of what sound that skull would make when it fell
of the wall, makes my teeth cringe.  ;D

Tonight I textured the walls and they look like this. Maybe not perfect, perhaps some photoshop touching up
but, well lol, it is what it is and it was time consuming.



I suppose, in theory, it would look something like this in game.



As always, I encourage others to improve the sprites.

This morning, I made a floor for the map, combine the sprites together to create something that
can be repeated across the map.

did you ever think of integrating it to files and then using map editor to create a whole map yourself:)?

that would be an epic add on, as putting those pieces together to make a whole map thats the TIME consumer that one might never get time for.

Hard to make such big addons once server is already running and GM is busy with a lot of keeping the server in good condition and solving players requests pms.

I would never expect a busy admin team to put a map together, this would be unreasonable to say the least :-)
At the same time however, my own time is finite so I will not be doing it all by myself. If the community wants
a new map enough, then those people who understand the sprite libraries and map editor, will make this happen.
Maybe not tomorrow, maybe not in a year, but when people get bored enough, the content will be there
for them to play with.

about inventory look for items:) its easy add on however, u need inventory look, ground looks, equip looks and store looks:)
its 4 files and 4 looks for every single item:)

:) and those maps could be trully epic and very unique.

When I have made all the sprites I can think off, then I will zip them up and they can be stored some place and
if someone wants the challenge then they can have it. :-)

Tonight I made the blackened sides of each wall and made some additional sprites to sprinkle across
the map for a total of 45 map sprites. You can download and view them here:
