Title: holleymir3.exe has stopped responding

first time instal and set up , but when ever i click start game crashes

im on windows 8.1 ?

windows 8 is not very compatible with mir 3, sometimes causes problems.

Make a shortcut to darkside.exe on your desktop, right click on the shortcut
select properties - compatibility and set it to windows XP sp3 + run as admin.

Let me know if it helped any way...

If not try do download this patch: www.niedobry.webd.pl/aot/helpers/patch.rar
replace files in your main darkside folder;)

nah already has them setting , maybe 64bit or direct x issues ?

shouldn't be, I play on 64x,
and for direct error is different;)

Its windows to the game issue,
u can try to:

"Try to add the mir app to Data Execution Protection list, some times fixes old apps.
Right click on PC, properties.
go to System Properties.
Tab (Advanced) -> Performance -> Config.. and you will see the TAB for DEP. ;)"

or change resolution:)
can also try to run game in 16 bit;)

I know its too many ideas and not sure if any gonna work, but mir 8 cause this with every older game lol.
